Aim High International is passionate about developing our student-athletes to be well-rounded citizens who are actively engaged in the community. We continually seek ways to identify community service opportunities. All student-athletes engage in service projects throughout the year. We are firm in our belief that no matter what path that you may take in your life, it is important always to find the time to engage with your surrounding community.

Aim High International requires student-athletes to take part in monthly community service projects working with charity and community organizations, as well as schools and hospitals. Some projects are short term while others continue throughout the school year.

Among the numerous student efforts are:

  • Collecting food for local food pantries and clothing for the needy

  • Singing Christmas carols for local residents

  • Raising funds for cancer and other disease research through Coaches vs. Cancer and other activities

  • Bi-weekly youth basketball clinics for local youth

  • Shoveling snow/raking leaves for home-bound and elderly local residents.

  • Participating in the Make-a-Wish program for young cancer patients

  • Reading to local elementary school classes

It Starts With You

Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.... You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.
― Martin Luther King, Jr.
